The Festival’s Mission is to provide a
platform for performance of the Arts by
amateurs of all ages and abilities in a
competitive but friendly atmosphere. In this
way the Festival seeks to foster and enhance
enjoyment and sharing of the Arts and to
provide an opportunity to develop a better
understanding and appreciation of artistic
excellence.
The 2012 Competitive Festival will run from the 12th to the 24th of March 2012

Affiliated to BIFF
Run by a voluntary committee, the Festival
is a registered charity and is affiliated to the
British and International Federation of
Festivals for Music, Dance and Speech of
which Her Majesty the Queen is Patron. As
far as possible, the committee aims to
ensure that the objectives of the Federation

2012 will be the festival’s 42nd year and it has
become renowned for its friendly atmosphere.

Patrick Hawes
New Festival Patron
We are pleased to announce
Patrick Hawes as the Festival’s
new patron. Resident in Norfolk,
Patrick is one of the country’s
most popular composers and has
recently released ‘The Highgrove
Suite’ - a commission requested by
HRH The Prince of Wales as a celebration of
the magnificent gardens of Highgrove.
